“When we look back on this project, it brings a smile to our faces. We find such gratitude in recreating bright, wonderful hospitality environments.” Peter & Paul

In 2012, a year after stumbling across a dull, white building in Scottsdale, AZ and transforming it into the Saguaro Scottsdale we know today, we were given the opportunity to redesign a second flailing property in Palm Springs, CA.

Like the previous project, we found the inspiration for our color palette within the desert; we also organized the color scheme in honor of Victor Vasarely and Yaacov Agam’s artworks.

The effect of the color scheme provides a warm welcome to all visitors. Informed by the colors of the balconies, the guest rooms boast comfortable and natural Equipale lounge furniture. The balcony colors reappear on the doors of the guest rooms, enlivening the hallways and bringing the color experience full circle.
