Bellini Modern Living, distributor of case goods, upholstery, and lighting for the home, will introduce Bellini Italian Home, a new division of home furnishings made in Italy, at the Fall 2015 High Point Market from October 17-22, 2015.
The line is designed and manufactured by a third-generation family of artisans in Italy who combine state-of-the-art production processes with time-honored craftsman techniques. The selection of materials also speaks to this duality, from the Shape Chair (left) that uses both high quality walnut and polyurethane to the City Sideboard (above) that use inlaid walnut doors and high gloss lacquer sides.
The juxtaposition of organic and machine-made elements not only defines the material selection, but the aesthetic of the designs as well. The Flora Sideboard (pictured below) is perhaps the most evident iteration of this mentality. A minimalist, wood frame makes up the piece, finished in a white, high gloss lacquer. A floral motif fabric is then applied over the door fronts. The sideboard will be on display in the Green Lobby of the IHFC building during High Point Market.
The full Bellini Italian Home line will debut at their showroom, located on the fifth floor of IHFC, Hamilton Wing, Suite 520. Below is a preview of their line, which ranges from dining to office to bedroom.
