The Empire State Building | This popular New York landmark has 102 stories and sits in the center of the most famous city in the world. You can go on a tour to the top and experience amazing views across the city.
The Eiffel Tour | Built in 1889, the Eiffel Tour in Paris is another fine example of a beautiful steel building. This iconic building was one the tallest building in the world and attracts millions of visitors every year. It is estimated that over 250 million people have visited it since it was first built. Pictures of the tower at night-time show it radiantly shining, with light bulbs that sparkle on the hour, every hour.
So, as you can see, steel buildings are very popular and not only do they provide immense strength, they can be designed to look very beautiful and therefore steel has been a popular choice for some of the greatest buildings in the world.
