Offering a 5,000 square-foot state-of-the art showroom within its Branchburg, NJ headquarters, Bellari Design, a division of Somerville Aluminum, has become an ‘Allied Member’ of the American Institute of Architects (AIA)

Branchburg-based company’s quality products and design/installation expertise deliver great value to architects and customers alike.

Bellari Design, a division of Somerville Aluminum, central Jersey’s largest full-service home improvement and remodeling company, is proud to announce that it has joined the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as an Allied Member. Through this prestigious membership, Bellari Design will be recognized by the AIA as a source of both the comprehensive products and demonstrated design and installation expertise associated with high-quality kitchen, bath, and other residential remodeling projects.

Founded in 1857 and based in Washington, D.C., the American Institute of Architects is the nation’s leading professional association for licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied partners. With nearly 300 state and local chapters nationwide, the AIA provides critical industry lobbying and advocacy services as well as outstanding professional education, networking, and recognition opportunities for its members, who rely on the knowledge, experience, and high integrity of exceptional industry partners like Bellari Design to proactively support the needs of clients engaged in remodeling projects.

“Bellari Design’s new relationship with the AIA offers architects a full-service organization for their clients,” shared Dolores Sonia, Vice President of Kitchens & Baths for Bellari Design.  “The ability to work with a one-stop design-and- build organization is very efficient and attractive for both architects and clients and additionally assures architects that the integrity of their design will remain consistent across the entire process. Customers/homeowners will also enjoy the added benefit of working with a team that’s involved in all aspects of their project and can represent them in direct communications with the architect as a knowledgeable and experienced industry liaison,” Sonia said.

“I’ve known and worked with Dolores Sonia for 25 years and am excited to continue partnering with her at Bellari Design,” said Jay Petrillo, an AIA member since 1989 and President of Basking Ridge, NJ-based Jay Michael Petrillo, AIA, Architects since 2000. “Bellari has an outstanding and innovative showroom for clients to visit and all of the projects we’ve completed with the Bellari team have received nothing but praise and rave reviews from clients based on the quality of Bellari’s products and the skill of their installers. Having Bellari Design as an Allied member of the AIA will be a great asset to architectural firms in terms of networking opportunities, building and integrating all of the members of a project team, and enhancing the architect’s ability to successfully complete a project from start to finish,” Petrillo said.

As a newly-dedicated division of Somerville Aluminum, Bellari Design is a one-stop- shop source of products and expertise that bring vision to life in the creation of beautiful, elegant, functional, and affordable kitchens and baths from design to installation.

“As full-service design and remodeling professionals, we have a complex understanding of all aspects of a project as well as the needs of the client,” Sonia confirmed. “Our long-standing relationships with a broad network of trusted architects brings greater peace of mind to all parties involved and enables projects to move successfully from concept to construction in a much more efficient manner.” Overall, she concluded, “we’re excited for the possibilities that Bellari Design’s new AIA membership will bring to both architects and clients alike.”
